Biography

Yaakoub BERROUCHE, born on January 12 in Setif, Algeria, holds a B.S. in Communication (2009), an M.S. in Networks and Telecommunication Systems (2011), and a Ph.D. (2017) from University Ferhat ABBAS, Setif, Algeria. His research interests include wireless communications, machine learning, 5G/6G systems, image processing, biomedical signal processing, and mechanical signal processing.

He was a research staff member in the "Medical Instrumentation and Signal Processing" team at the Electronic Instrumentation Laboratory "L.I.S" at Ferhat ABBAS Setif 1 University, focusing on robust schemes of Multiple Description Coding.

His skills include the analysis and modeling of wireless communication systems, joint source channel coding, image and video coding, and signal processing for biomedical and mechanical applications. He is proficient in Matlab, Python, and C++. Known for his integrity, accountability, and business acumen, Yaakoub is proactive, teamt-oriented, and communicates effectively in English and French.
