Myna Vajha received the bachelor’s degree from IIT Kharagpur, the master's degree from the University of Southern California, and the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. She is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. She held earlier positions with Ericsson in San Jose, CA, USA, and Qualcomm in Bengaluru. Her current research interests include wireless communications, coding theory, and information theory, with applications to distributed storage systems, low-latency streaming, and privacy.
